A DonnaWorld Movie Review

A Beautiful Mind
In this sequel to Steve Martin's The Man with Two Brains, egomaniacal actor Russell Crowe plays the son of Steve Martin and a talking brain in a jar. Much like his father, Russell soon finds himself falling for a talking brain in a jar, this one voiced by Jennifer Connelly.
However, it soon becomes clear that Russell is more in love with himself than anything else. He repeatedly curses out anyone who has a problem with him, and often carries around his Oscar statue so he can beat people up with it. He blames others for his own faults, even when evidence of these faults is overwhelming. He claims that anyone who doesn't understand him is simply too retarded to recognize his genius.
I realized, as Russell beat the seventh consecutive interviewer to a bloody pulp with his Oscar, that the movie had stopped being a love story between him and Jennifer Connelly's brain, and had instead become a documentary about Russell Crowe's real life. Russell, before you come and beat me up, please realize that I am giving you my highest review: four Donnas. Please don't hurt me.
